THE BEGINNING
Abri
The Founder
Abri was not only Monika's loyal companion, but also her greatest teacher. Through him, the values and principles of the dog school were shaped – values that still form the heart of our work today.
Abri showed Monika how deep the connection between human and dog can be and what it means to commit unconditionally and uncompromisingly to a living being and walk this path full of dedication and respect.
He is the namesake of the dog sports club Abri and the non-profit association Abri.

THE EVOLUTION
Len
The Companion
After Abri had accompanied Monika's path for so long, Len continued this path. Len was also an important teacher.
The path that Len and Monika walked together not only let these two grow, but also further changed this line that is now carried outward with pride.

Heros
The New Beginning
We welcome the youngest Malinois male, Heros, to the pack! Heros steps to Monika's side and stands with her on a path that was founded by Monika's Malinois, Abri.
Now not only Heros stands by Monika's side, ready to continue this path. We as a pack will walk this path alongside Monika and take every step uncompromisingly and unconditionally together.

THE FOUNDER
Monika Bodmer
Over 30 years of experience in respectful and effective dog training
With over 30 years of experience in dog training, I have turned my passion into a profession. My dogs were not only loyal companions, but above all my greatest teachers.
My philosophy is based on a deep, trusting relationship between human and dog. I do not rely on rigid theories, but on an individual and harmonious bond that helps every dog to develop, while handlers learn to lead with self-confidence, clear guidance and loving consistency.
My own life story has taught me how deep the connection between human and dog can be. These experiences flow into my work today – both in the training of family dogs and sport dogs as well as in therapeutic work with the ABRI association.
Together with my pack, I accompany people and their dogs on a path characterized by trust, respect and unconditional dedication.

CHARITABLE WORK
Verein ABRI
The non-profit ABRI association was founded to deploy the therapeutic power of dogs where it is needed most. Our trained therapy dogs accompany people in difficult life situations and provide comfort, trust and hope.
Following Monika Bodmer's philosophy, our therapy dogs help traumatized, sick and cerebral palsy children as well as seniors in nursing homes. The unconditional love and trust of the dogs enable those affected to process experiences and gain new strength.
