Dog Therapy and School Bodmer ("HTSB") collects personal data from you. HTSB as the controller processes your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Act ("DPA") and the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), as amended from time to time (collectively "Regulation"). This Privacy Policy describes how we process the personal data we have collected from you.
1. What personal data do we collect?
"Personal data" is information that relates to you or which we can otherwise associate with you. The personal data we collect includes: your name, postal address, email address, IP address, telephone number and - if desired by you - date of birth.
2. How do we collect your personal data?
We collect personal data that you have voluntarily provided to us, for example when you:
(i) communicate with us via email or other communication channels
(ii) ask us to send you communications or information; or
(iii) register for an event.
In certain cases, we supplement your personal data with information that we have found from other sources, such as publicly available search engines, sector-specific newsletters, social media platforms or via your employer's website, to determine/confirm your current position.
3. For what purpose do we process your personal data?
We need your personal data for communication purposes, for example to:
(i) send you newsletters and other information about HTSB;
(ii) send you invitations to events, courses, conferences or lectures; and
(iii) manage our contact database.
We do not make your personal data available to third parties.
4. Why do we process your personal data and on what legal basis?
As stated above, we process your personal data for communication purposes. We rely on our legitimate interests in staying in contact with you as a business partner and communicating with you to keep you informed about HTSB's activities and events. We assume that our legitimate interests are in accordance with the Regulation and your rights.
5. Where is your personal data stored?
HTSB is a Swiss sole proprietorship and all your personal data is processed in Switzerland and stored on servers in Switzerland.
6. How long do we keep your personal data?
Your personal data will be kept for the purposes specified herein as long as you are a business partner of HTSB. You can unsubscribe from our database at any time if you no longer wish to receive information from us. If you decide to do so, we will no longer send you such communications.
7. Data Security
HTSB has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unauthorized access.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to know what personal data we process about you and can request a copy. You also have the right to request that incorrect personal data about you be corrected and in certain cases you can ask us to delete your personal data. You can also object to the processing of certain personal data and request that data processing be restricted. Please note that restricting or deleting your personal data may mean that we can no longer send you communications and invitations as described above. You also have the right to receive your personal data on a computer-readable medium and to transfer it to a third party.
If you do not agree with our data processing, you can report this to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and/or the competent supervisory authorities in the EU.
9. Changes
HTSB reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time and unilaterally.
